Sous Chef
Oven and Shaker features hearty Italian street food and wood burning oven pizza elevated by six-time James Beard Award Finalist Chef/Owner Cathy Whims
We're looking for an individual that can effectively help lead a team of 15-20 people
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Basic Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Valid food handler's card
- Punctual and reliable
- Friendly, professional, helpful attitude
- Good time management
- Excellent knife skills
- Bending, squatting, reaching and twisting
- Knowledge of food safety requirements
- Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously
- Ability to stay active, focused and alert for extended periods of time
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Must be available to work a varied schedule of shifts based on the needs of the restaurant (i.e. late hours, holidays, weekends, etc.)
Other attributes that will make you a great fit for our restaurant:
- Experience with hand-tossed pizza
- Experience cooking with a wood-burning oven
- Knowledge and dedication to safe kitchen practices and adherence to all health regulations
- Cleanliness and attention to detail
- Work well with others
